This award winning international law practice is looking for an HR assistant to support the HR Officer and Senior HR Manager. Duties will include:-
1).Employee Relations: • Participate in providing a professional support and advisory service to our client groups. • Advise staff on policies and procedures as appropriate. • Undertake exit interviews and follow-up on any required action for all members of staff up to Team Leader level. • Keep up to date file notes for all employee relations issues. • Maternity counselling for members of staff up to Team Leader level.
2.) Absence: • Monitor sickness absence and work with HRO to action areas of concern. • Run individual sickness reports as requested • Ensure that holidays are taken and produce reports for Management/Heads prior to the end of year cut off. • Book Occupational Health referrals via Capita and prepare confirmation letter and draft referral • Run annual leave reports for IT administrators and monthly sickness reports to audit and ensure individuals have completed the on-line forms.
3.) Recruitment • Liaise with Team Leaders to determine appropriate recruitment process and attend assessment centres and interviews where necessary up to Team Leader level. • Ensure that quality standards are maintained and to provide advice and support. • Send responses to applicants/interviewees as indicated by recruiting manager including NSV's. • Sort out/book/arrange all interviews from start to finish for support groups. • Ensure virtual file recruitment files are fully up to date with clean, new CVs and interview notes. • Maintain virtual file of speculative agency information. • Maintain IGrasp recruitment system; uploading all details of new vacancies onto system. • Produce Joiner/contract paperwork and ensure that all references/medical reports are received • IT Contractor Recruitment from start to finish. Liaise with recruiting manager and IT PSL agencies • Advertise vacancies internally, liaise with agencies, interview candidates and make offers of employment. Provide feedback on unsuccessful candidates. • Provide salary or employment law advice where necessary. • Monitor relationships and service levels with IT PSL agencies. • Work with HRO to review IT PSL annually. • Work with HRO to analyse quarterly management information provided by IT PSL.
